Donating your formal wear will make dreams come true for local youth, and Mother Earth will thank you too.
The fashion industry uses 98 million tons of non-renewable resources every year*.
When you donate to Ruby Room, the product lifecycle is extended and you are helping to reduce the environmental impacts of textiles going to landfills.

To donate your formal wear, you can schedule online or visit a drop-off location at Bakker's Fine Dry Cleaning in Bellevue.

Items we take
Womenswear
Formal and cocktail dresses in all sizes.
Formal shoes, handbags, jewelry, unused makeup and hair products, shawls and other accessories. Please put these items in a small bag and attach them to your donation.
We do not accept wedding dresses but can recommend Brides for A Cause. They are also a generous sponsor of the Ruby Room!
Menswear
Tuxedos, suits, sport coats, slacks and dress shirts in youth and adult sizes.
Dress shoes, ties, bow ties and accessories.
Donation Guidelines
~We can only accept items that are clean and in good condition. If your garments need to be dry-cleaned before you drop them off, Bakker's is offering a 40% discount - you can prepay for the dry-cleaning and leave your donation there to be picked up by one of our volunteers. If you drop off stained or items that require repair we will donate them to a local charity.
~If you need a tax receipt, please attach a note with your name and email address to your donation. We will send an electronic receipt once your donation has been processed by Ruby Room.
~Please limit the size of your donation to a few items (no more than 10). If you have a large donation, please contact info@rubyroomseattle.org to make special arrangements.
