The RubyRox Box is a care package program that delivers everyday essentials to foster youth to promote joy, wellness, and personal growth.

With the help of sponsors, community partners, and volunteers, the RubyRox Box will provide essential items for youth experiencing foster care. The RubyRox Boxes are distributed through the Ruby Room’s client network and WA State social workers, who will deliver them directly to youth in need!

We’re asking for your support! Donate today and gift items or a complete RubyRox Box care package for a child in foster care.

50 RubyRox Boxes, and we need your help!

RubyRox Boxes are delivered to social service providers for distribution to the foster youth they support.

Items in need:

$50 gift cards to stores for clothing and basic necessities
(Target, Fred Meyer)
Blankets
Hygiene products: deodorant, toothpaste, razors, sanitary napkins, tampons
Duffel bags
Backpacks

New Shoes + Clothes

RubyRox Box provides a voucher to a local retailer so youth can go into the store and choose their preferred style and size. Giving kids the power to choose is how RubyRox Box stays true to the mission of Empowering Youth Through Fashion.

Aromatherapy bracelet

A fashionable and functional piece to help bring the healing properties of wild orange. Worn throughout the day, kids can experience wild orange's benefits, including eased trauma symptoms, pain relief, uplift, improved cognitive function, and stress relief.

Dream catcher

Nighttime can be one of the most difficult times of the day for foster children. Handmade by our volunteers, the dream catcher helps children feel grounded and comforted, promoting healthy rest.

Stuffed animal

The benefits of companionship in a sweet stuffy. Holding this friend close can ease children's hearts and bring the comfort of a stuffed animal.

Journals & Letters

A journal is included for jotting down goals and memories, a proven way to reduce stress. Paired with note cards for youth to write to family and friends whom they feel distant from.
